Wild Shape is the action in Baldur’s Gate 3 that allows all Druids to transform into different animal forms, assuming the beast stats (except for INT, WIS, and CHA) by using the Wild Shape charge. Each form has a specific amount of HP that, once drained, will make the Druids transform back to their human form. You can even receive damage that goes further than your Wild Shape HP, causing damage to the human form. Once finished with a specific Wild Shape, the Druid can turn back to human form, saving the remaining Wild Shape charge. Here are all the Druid forms in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Druid Form | HP | Description |
---|---|---|
Badger | 13 | The Badger has great damage-dealing abilities thanks to Bite and Claw, with its Burrow ability rendering enemies prone. It can travel through underground tunnels but it is unable to climb. |
Bear | 30 | The Bear Wild Shape is one of the most powerful forms in Baldur’s Gate 3, acting as a tank with the best health stat with remarkable offensive and defensive capabilities. Groading Roar allows the Bear to gather the attention of enemies, leaving them open to attack. |
Cat | 2 | The Cat transformation is best used out of combat to fit into tight and small spaces or cause some distraction. During combat, you are better off transforming to another form since its damage output is almost non-existent. |
Deep Rothé | 23 | With great charging capabilities, the Deep Rothé form allows the Druid to impale enemies with piercing melee damage. The Charge ability can impact several enemies and even render them prone. |
Dire Raven | 13 | Just like the Cat, the Dire Raven lacks combat capabilities, and it is suited for fitting in small spaces, with the bonus of verticality thanks to its ability to fly. Rend Vision can blind the target, which can be used with another Druid form to deal with enemies. |
Displacer Beast | 85 | Whether you want to tap into your Tadpole powers or not, the idea of becoming a tentacle feline is very enticing. You will be able to whip enemies with your tentacles, duplicate yourself, and deal a great amount of melee damage. Embrace the darkness in Baldur’s Gate 3. |
Owlbear | 65 | Available at Druid level 6, the Owlbear can Rupture the ground with its power and become Enraged to better deal with enemies. |
Spider | 20 | While being straight-up nightmare fuel, the Spider is a terrifying form best suited for battle. Poison characters with your Venomous Bite and enweb them with your Web ability. You can even jump and climb structures, disturbing the peace of the townsfolk. |
Wolf | 18 | The battle machine, the Wolf features great strength and speed. Exposing Bite will open up Critical Hits for any of your allies that strike said enemy afterward while Inciting Howl will increase your party’s movement speed. |
