Wild Hearts is an upcoming game set to be released on February 16 that will be on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This action game will have players hunting monsters in teams of three to take down beasts called Kemono. The game takes place in Azuma, which consists of various areas players can explore. There are eight weapon types in the game, and this guide will list them so players can know how to use them to their advantage.

For assistance with combat, players can use the Karakuri mechanic and build crates to inflict massive damage on enemies. Players can also use a torch to light a fire against enemies if they choose to do so, and the game offers eight different weapons. To prevent enemies from going through, players can use building blocks for protection against them.

Each beast has its different aspect of nature, the pieces of nature that makeup Kemono will play a part in how you find it, its attacks, and how much damage it will inflict. As we know, there are seven different Kemono: Ragetail, Lavaback, Sapscorage, Kingtusk, Earthbreaker, Deathstalker, and an Unknown Hawk Kemono. There are plans to add more Kemono after the game becomes available for release.

How To Choose The Best Weapon

Knowing the best weapons depends on your style of play entirely. It can be challenging to observe which weapons are useful and comfortable, but as you play, you should be able to get used to the weapons available in the game.

Each weapon is made up of standard attacks and special attacks. For any weapon, Attack 1 is the most basic of attacks. Depending on your weapon, Attack 2s are more high-powered, and each has unique special attacks. Remember to keep in mind that Special Attacks play a crucial part in your success with hunting.

Stamina can be used for special attacks and for defending yourself against attacks. For the sake of survival, you must balance your stamina levels perfectly. Taking no damage or minor damage can help you greatly against Kemono monsters. To help with your hunting style, you should upgrade your weapons in different ways to adjust. Weapons usually upgrade through an element because elemental attributes make weapons stronger and more powerful.

To gather some weapons, players have to get materials from the Kemono and the land they hunt on. It is very crucial for players to know the weapons they are using to have any chance at all against the Kemono.

List of The Eight Weapons in Wild Hearts

Here is a list of the weapon types of Wild Hearts:

  • Karakuri Staff
  • Claw Blade
  • Maul
  • Nodachi
  • Karakuri Katana
  • Bladed Wagasa
  • Bow
  • Cannon

The Nodachi is your conventional Great Sword and can inflict slow and heavy damage, while the Claw Blade is more speedy with landing attacks. If you seek to carve through the Kemono, the best weapon to use would be the Bladed Wasaga; the Cannon can provide a range to launch attacks. You can choose the different weapons that fit you best.
