Love is well and truly in the air for a select couple of Heroes in the Overwatch universe with the recent release of the limited time, free-to-play browser based dating sim spin-off, LOVERWATCH! Playable from February 13 in time for Valentine’s Day through to February 28 of this year, its short runtime will make it easy to experience at least once. Just make sure you get in as much time as you want with its romanceable candidates before it is gone forever! But who are the Overwatch heroes who are worthy of our love?
All Characters in Overwatch Dating Sim LOVERWATCH
There are two romanceable characters in LOVERWATCH; they are none other than Mercy and Genji. Both of their routes have a play time of around 25 or so minutes each, and completing both routes will make its secret ending available, making for a total of three endings altogether. Completing all of these endings awards the player with Hanzo’s Cupid legendary skin that can only be obtained in Overwatch 2 via its specific bundle.
Saying this, Hanzo is also featured throughout the game as the player’s love coach as they are tutored in how to win over the affections of either Mercy or Genji. It goes without saying that we will not go into any details regarded its secret ending for now.
Hopefully we get to see a paid version of the game so that we can romance Overwatch’s resident gentle giant Reinhardt. It needs to happen, and it may very well come to be since LOVERWATCH does hint to possibly being expanded. Roadhog happens to be name dropped in the same sentence even.
On that note, some notable characters from the IP can be seen in the game depending on which route, such as Zenyatta appearing chibi-fied as one such example.
