All Characters in Choo Choo Charles:

This is a list of all of the characters you can meet in Choo Choo Charles:

Eugene

Eugene is a former mining team supervisor that was one of the first people to discover what Charles was; he is the character that is responsible for bringing you to the haunted island to defeat Charles.

Charles

Charles is the evil, demonic spider train that serves as the main antagonist in the game.

Tony Tiddle

Tony Tiddle is a kind NPC that can be met fairly early in the game after Eugene’s death. He thanks you and gives you more information about Charles and Warren. He also offers resources (metal scraps from his barn) to help you upgrade your train.

The Pickle Lady

This NPC is a crazed woman only known as “The Pickle Lady”. She really likes pickles, and if you can find her “secret jar of pickles” and bring them back to her from her “pickle cave” (no, that’s not a euphemism), she will reward you with scrap metal that you can use to upgrade your train.

Theodore

Theodore is a suspicious NPC that works at the Aranearum. He’ll give you an optional side quest that will require you to retrieve a “special” blue box of his from the bottom of a canyon. If you bring him back his box, he will reward you with scraps for your train.

Candice

Candice is a kind NPC that will offer you free scrap metal from her balcony, no side quests required! She’ll also warn you to not engage with anyone wearing a mask.

Daryl

Daryl is a tough, no-nonsense NPC that will give you the optional side quest of opening a locked chest that was dumped onto his property. He’ll give you plenty of lockpicks to open it up (which can be used later in the game as well), and if you can open it and bring him the contents (a weird picture) he will give you extra scrap metal.

Helen

Helen is a helpful NPC that will give you more information about Charles and how to defeat him. She’ll give you a key to a mine containing an egg, and the locations of the three eggs you’ll need to obtain to kill Charles once and for all.

Sgt. Flint

Sgt. Flint is a tough and slightly unhinged NPC that will give you a free flamethrower if you can find a way to extinguish the fire that’s overtaken his shed.

Lizbeth Murkwater

Lizbeth Murkwater is a spooky old woman that lives in a swamp. She’s an NPC who will reward you with scraps for your train if you manage to bring her back a mysterious carcass from the island in the middle of the swamp (just beware of Barry the Swamp Monster).

Paul

Paul is Eugene’s son, he is an NPC that can be found at the Aranearum Municipal Building. He will thank you for your services and help you devise an ingenious plan to kill Charles. He will also give you the key to the temple, which is where you’ll need to bring all three eggs to engage in a final battle with Charles.

Gertrude

Gertrude is an NPC who will help you get an OP gun to fight Charles. She will give you part of a special gun that her husband built, and will then give you directions to where the other pieces of the gun are located. Once you’ve got all the pieces, you’ll be able to build a wicked-tough weapon to help you kill Charles.

Gale

Gale is an intelligent NPC that will give you a key to one of the mines containing an egg. He will also warn you about the ancient shrine on the island that is supposedly powerful enough to destroy all of the monster eggs.

Santiago

Santiago is a paranoid NPC who wants to leave the island as soon as possible. He will provide you with an optional side quest to fetch him his personal journal that he forgot at home. If you bring his journal back to him, he will reward you with metal scraps for your train.

John Smith

John Smith is a demolition expert that will help you design an overpowered weapon to help defeat Charles. He will give you a free rocket launcher if you bring him a box of rocket ammunition.

Greg

Greg is a high-strung NPC that will give you a lot of information regarding Charles and the three monster eggs that you need to collect to defeat him. He will also give you the key needed to enter one of the mines containing the monster eggs.

Claire

Claire is a badly injured NPC that will ask you to help her repair the breakers on the side of her lighthouse. If you help her repair the lighthouse, she will not only give you metal scraps as a reward, but she will also be able to signal more passing ships to help evacuate the rest of the island.

Sasha

Sasha is a superstitious NPC that will express her concern about the ghostly entity that supposedly haunts her boulder field. She will ask you to collect 8 of the mysterious drawings out in the field and bring them back to her (if you’ve ever played Slenderman: The Eight Pages, you will find this side quest very familiar). If you do this, she will reward you with metal scraps for upgrading your train.

Warren Charles III

Warren Charles III is the mysterious mining company owner that supposedly went crazy and began worshipping Charles.

Hell Charles

Hell Charles is the horrifying, demonic form that Charles takes on once all three eggs are placed into the shrine. Hell Charles is the final boss in the game.
