If you are going to get stranded on an island with some dangerous and creepy creatures wanting to kill you continuously, then you have to protect yourself. Yes, a gun or a hand-made weapons helps, but what happens when you are not fast enough to avoid the hits? That’s where an armor comes in. And don’t worry, you will get one in due time. Here are all the armor locations in Sons of the Forest.
All Armor Locations Sons Of The Forest
So, if you want some chances for survival, you will have to sport some kind of armor. After all, those mutant bites and incoming bullets aren’t going to forgive you for not wearing any. Anyway, currently, there are a total of 6 armor types in the game, all varying in effectiveness and difficulty to get. For the most part, you will be able to craft armor. That means that all of their locations depend on the location of the items that are used to craft the armors themselves. Go ahead and take a look at the table below to find the type of armor you want to get.

| Bone Armor | x4 Bones x1 Duct Tape x1 Rope | Bones can be found in caves, rope is located near the shoreline, on cliffs, or in enemy camps. Finally, you can find the duct tape in the shoreline, in boxes and crates. |
| Creepy Armor | Mutant Skin Combat Knife | The only thing you really need is to skin some mutants, because you already get the combat knife at the beginning of the game with your emergency pack. |
| Golden Armor | — | Located in the bunker by the lake, just southeast of the snowy mountains. You will require the Maintenance Key to enter the area and also battle a huge monster made out of human limbs. Nice. |
| Hide Armor | x1 Cloth x2 Animal Hide | You will be able to find cloth all over the island, specially in caves, debris, and loot boxes. Animal hide are found, well, in animals. So go hunting for a change. |
| Leaf Armor | x10 Leaf x1 Cloth | Leaves can be found, well, in the forest. Cloth is found in caves, debris, and loot boxes. Am I repeating myself? Oh, sorry. Let’s continue. |

Go ahead and travel all around the island to find your new items in order to get crafting. Once you do, just open the inventory, gather all of your things, and click the cogwheel to get your brand-new armor. I don’t know if a mutant skin armor could be called brand-new, but anyway. Have a good one!
