The original date for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 has officially been pushed back. As of right now, we have no official release date, but we will let you know when we do. In this post, we will take a look at why the release is pushed back and what it means for the game now.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 Delayed
The news comes to us from Call of Duty’s various Twitter accounts. We got a look at the following message:
“While we all look forward to playing the new seasons of Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Call of Duty Mobile, now is not the time. We are moving the launches of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 to later dates. Right now it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice, and change to be seen and heard. We stand alongside you.”
As we said, we have no official date and this post is all we have to go on. What we can say, however, is that Call of Duty updates are generally set live on Tuesdays and Fridays. It is possible we see a release this Friday or next Tuesday, but things will likely depend on the current state of affairs in the world.
Now that we are patiently waiting for Season 4 to release, will any more teasers release to hype us up?
While this is likely bad news for many Call of Duty players, some more casual players who are not yet max level have some extra time to rank up their tiers and get that free loot. We will keep you posted when we get more information.
