How to Unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins

It is super easy to unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Origins and here's how!

For all the Sonic fans out there, Sonic Origins is a great collection to add to your video game arsenal. Sonic Origins includes the four original games: Sonic The Hedgehog (1991), Sonic CD (1993), Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (1992), and Sonic & Knuckles (1994). And one of the cool features brought to you in this high-definition remaster of the game, aside from the many unlockable content, challenges, and levels, is a brand new way to play: Mirror Mode.

Not only does Mirror Mode present you with new challenges, but it also flips every single map in the opposite direction. So, any muscle memory you may have and patterns you may know are thrown out the window! Because instead of playing the side-scroller from left to right, you will now be playing right to left. Don’t worry though you will still have to try to take down the dastardly Dr. Robotnik. Here’s how to enable mirror mode in the game.

Unlocking Mirror Mode

To unlock the new Mirror Mode of Sonic Origins all you have to do is finish one of the four games and the option will appear on the main game menu. It’s that easy! After the credits roll, after finishing any of the four games, the Mirror Mode options will appear on the main game menu.

Though, you can also purchase the Sonic Origins Digital Delux to automatically have Mirror Mode available to you.

Mirror Mode is a fantastic and challenging option for new or returning players and Sonic fans on every system. The mode introduces a new challenge to the game, making the classic side scroller even more difficult. Of course, you can always use Super Sonic to help balance the scales as well. That character can be unlocked via cheats or by collecting all of the Chaos Emeralds!
