Mortal Kombat 11

This sequel of a popular classic fighter game brings 90s kids like me right back to childhood. You can play as one of 37 characters and use their unique fighting styles, special attacks, and most importantly – fatalities! To be honest, the creativity of various fatality finishers was what attracted me to this game back in the age of PS1 in the first place.

The game also features a Story mode that will, alongside Aftermath give you 17 chapters in total. While playing through the story you will be going through a 2-year period in the world of Mortal Kombat. The total playtime of main objectives is around 6 hours, but completing all aspects of the game and getting to 100% completion will take you about 55 hours.

Hitman World of Assassination (Hitman 3)

If you’re a fan of stealth games and haven’t tried any Hitman games yet, you should definitely do it now when it’s so affordable and at your fingertips. Sneaking around, learning all the ins for your target, and finally executing them gives you the feeling of a video game Leon the Professional.

So you don’t get confused, Hitman World of Assassination is a rebranded name for Hitman 3. This game unifies Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 missions as well as some new exciting DLC content. You can explore dozens of destinations all over the world and kill your targets in a multitude of creative ways. That freedom of choice and choose-your-own-adventure type of game really lured me in from the start. For that reason alone, Hitman is the game I can always come back to when I feel the need for that satisfying James Bond feel.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

The first-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege is here to bring the realism of tactical combat to you and your friends. It would be an understatement to say that the game favors coop since it’s really all about cooperation and having a poor one will mean too many lost matches (trust me, I know).

You will attack barricaded houses like the SWAT team does it – with the help of shields, mini-robots with cameras, vents, tools, and wall-breaching explosives (to name just a few things). This game brought to a whole new level the realistic assault type of combat that Counter-Strike games introduced and this genre isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

Minecraft Legends

If I needed to describe Minecraft Legends to someone who’s never heard about it my initial description would be – It’s a little bit of everything. You can construct a base, explore the open world, and fight evil Piglits and their bosses in order to defend the Overworld in a classic action-packed video game.

Sometimes you will be defending against a Piglit invasion so the game will have that tower defense feel, but other times you will be organizing an attack (either alone or with friends) on Nether Portal that will spawn more Piglit bases unless destroyed. The initial tutorial in the game and just sheer playing it would help you fully grasp this exploration and strategy game.

Fortnite

What’s there to say about the probably most popular shooter online? Jump in this (very) fast-paced battle royale and try to become the last man standing in a sea of well-equipped and cunning enemies. You’ll find resources, shoot at others, build your own covers, and mainly try to outplay everyone else. And these are just the outlines of the main mode of the game.

Fortnite features a ton of modes and mini-games within its platform (kind of like Roblox) that will leave you speechless. I can safely say that there is not a single person on this planet that can’t find a fun game within the Fortnite universe.
