Modern games are living things, constantly in need of updates and tweaking to maintain the most optimal experience. There is certainly no shortage of players inadvertently discovering problems in Elden Ring; just yesterday I had to console a friend that inadvertently locked themselves out of a questline. To keep things fresh, FromSoftware has released another patch for Elden Ring today. Here are the Elden Ring 1.07 patch notes.
To clarify, this new patch will bring your game version up to 1.07 if you’re playing the PlayStation version of Elden Ring. If you’re playing on the PC version, on the other hand, it’ll bring your game version up to 1.04.1. You can see what version of the game you’re running if you check the lower-right section of the title screen. Remember, you need to be running the latest version of the game if you want to use any of the online features, so install this update ASAP.
Elden Ring 1.07 Patch Notes
Version 1.07 of Elden Ring is pretty small, mostly just a handful of hotfixes to address some problems that cropped up in the last major update. Here’s the full list of changes, straight from Bandai Namco’s update blog:
- Fixed a bug in which the effect duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear was revised downward
- Fixed a bug with Malenia, Blade of Miquella in which her HP was not healed correctly in the online multiplayer environment
- Fixed a bug that caused some bosses to die at unintended times
- Fixed a bug that prevented the boss Elden Beast from working properly under certain circumstances
- Fixed some texts
That quirk with the Cerulean Hidden Tear was something the devs uncovered early last week, so it was the major impetus for the rollout of this patch.
