The Razor Claw is an important item you will need if you want to evolve Sneasel. There are a few different ways you can go about obtaining a Razor Claw, and we’re going to cover each of them so that you can decide which method is best for you. The Razor Claw is “a sharp and pointed claw that seems as though it might be able to cut through anything at all. It’s loved by a certain Pokemon.” Of course, we already know that Pokemon is Sneasel.

How to Get Razor Claw in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Here are the three ways to obtain a Razor Claw in Pokemon Legends Arceus:

• Purchase one from Simona’s Item Exchange in Jubilife Village
• Complete Space Time Distortions
• Battle or catch Hisuian Sneasel

Simona’s Item Exchange

The easiest way to obtain the Razor Claw is by simply purchasing one for Simona in Jubilife Village. You can exchange 1,400 Merit Points to obtain one Razor Claw. It’s a steep price to pay, and there are probably better things to spend your Points on, but it’s by far the easiest and least time-consuming method. You probably already know this, but you can obtain Merit Points by finding lost satchels in any area.

Space Time Distortions

Another way to obtain a Razor Claw is by doing Space Time Distortions. These randomly pop up from time to time after calming the Noble Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands. When they appear, you can go inside the dome to encounter all kinds of different Pokemon. 

Items will also appear all over the ground, one of which can be the Razor Claw, among other items otherwise available for sale in the Item Exchange. Because these events are random, it’s not a particularly good method to use if you’re specifically trying to get a Razor Claw.

Wild Sneasel

Another way to get a Razor Claw is by battling or catching Sneasel in the wild. The item is technically a rare drop, meaning you may have to go through numerous encounters before you finally get one. If you’re lucky enough, though, you may find one fairly quickly! Hisuian Sneasel is found southwest of the Celestica Trail in Coronet Highlands.

Visit the location above and work your way through all of the Sneasel. Then, you can use the Razor Claw on any of your Sneasels to evolve it into Sneasler. At the moment, these are all the known methods for how to get a Razor Claw in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
