Where to Catch Enamorus in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Where to Catch Enamorus in Pokemon Legends Arceus

We have everything you need to know about where and how to catch Enamorus in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

Since their introduction in Generation V, the legendary Pokemon known collectively as the Forces of Nature have been a trio, made up of Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus. However, those three Pokemon only represent lightning, storms, and soil, respectively, which while covering a fairly wide swath, hardly accounts for every last natural force in the world. For example, what about… the power of love? Yeah, it’s a reach, but hey, more Pokemon to catch. Here’s where to catch Enamorus in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

In the post-game of Pokemon Legends Arceus, the sage Cogita will task you with locating and catching the members of the Forces of Nature in a request titled “Incarnate Forces of Hisui.” Once you catch Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus, and max out their respective Pokedex entries, you can report to Cogita at the Ancient Retreat. Here, she’ll drop a bombshell on you: there’s a fourth member of the Forces of Nature, who actually happens to be a good friend of hers: Enamorus, the spirit of spring and a passionate lover of all things living. To complete Cogita’s request, you’ll need to catch this last Pokemon.

Enamorus makes her home in the Scarlet Bog, found in the Crimson Mirelands. It’s right next to the area’s second base camp, and it’s full of Croagunk, Stunky, and Skuntanks, plus an Alpha Skuntank. You’ll know Enamorus when you see her; she’s surrounded by a swirling barrier of wind, which can be spotted in the distance even when you can’t see her.

How to Catch Enamorus

Before you can catch Enamorus, you have to break her shield. This is done by successfully pelting her with any throwable object, including mud balls, snowballs, and even Poke Balls. In fact, you should have a stack of long-range balls like Feather and Jet Balls on hand, both to pelt her from a distance and for the actual catch.

Be careful, though; if Enamorus sees you coming, she’ll dart away quickly, forcing you to chase her. The mud of the Scarlet Bog will slow you down, making it harder to corner her, and even if you do, she’ll unleash whirlwinds with tricky patterns that may reverse your controls if you’re hit by them. You’ll also attract the ire of all of the local Pokemon if you chase her around the bog. The best course of action is to use Smoke Bombs to hide your approach, then pelt her with Feather Balls from a reasonable distance.

Once you break Enamorus’ shield three times, she’ll be dizzy, at which point you can throw out a Pokemon and draw her into a fight. Enamorus is a level 70 Flying/Fairy type, and certainly no pushover, but a good counter to her is Heatran, who you should have caught already. Once you wear her down a bit, throw Jet Balls to try to catch her. Long-range balls have a catch bonus against Flying type Pokemon. If you accidentally knock Enamorus out, don’t worry, just leave and return to the area, and she’ll respawn.

Once you catch Enamorus, return to Cogita to complete the request. She’ll reward you with the Reveal Glass, which you can use to swap any of the Forces of Nature between their Incarnate and Therian formes, which Enamorus also possesses.
