If you’ve ever played an RPG, you know there is an insane amount of dialogue. So much so that players might want the characters to talk back and forth normally without having to push any buttons. So, let’s put on our mask and figure out how to turn on auto subtitles in Persona 5 Tactica.
Does Persona 5 Tactica have Auto Subtitles?
Much like its main-game counterpart, Persona 5 Tactica does have an option to auto-play subtitles. This means that once characters are done speaking, the game will automatically progress the dialogue forward, having the next characters/speech bubble pop up. A feature that many players will appreciate when they have a sandwich in hand.

How to Turn on Auto Subtitles in Persona 5?
To turn on auto subtitles, all players have to do is press ‘X’ on an Xbox controller, ‘A’ on a Keyboard, or ‘Square’ on a PlayStation one during dialogue. What’s more, players can press ‘right’ on the D-Pad during dialogue to pull up even more shortcuts for other options. But thankfully, if you already know the button to press, you won’t need to pull up the little menu every time you want to turn on auto subtitles.
Furthermore, when you turn on this setting, you’ll receive a notification towards the bottom left of the screen, letting you know that you have auto subtitles enabled. It makes for an overall extremely useful accessibility option and provides ease of access to those who don’t want to mash continue after every minute or two of Joker saying, “Alright.”
