Wayfinder is an exciting new game coming to conquer the MMORPG space with its unique heroes and signature gameplay. If we had to compare it to another game we would say that it is a game similar to Warframe, since it gives you the chance to craft your weapons from materials you pick up during adventures.

It was announced that the game would have multiplayer but there are still plenty of facts that are in the dark when it comes to that matter. So, we decided to explore what kind of options Wayfinder will give you and your friends.

How to Play Coop in Wayfinder?

We currently don’t have enough information to point you to a particular option in the game that will get you to play with friends. However, the developers have confirmed that Wayfinder will have both coop play and cross-play.

As developers noted, the game will allow parties of 3 to play together with classic roles such as DPS, Tank, and Healers available for everyone to choose. Further, they added that both character and weapon abilities will be modifiable so there will be nothing to stop you from turning your healer into a DPS or your tank into a healer. From my point of view, this type of versatility is awesome for a coop play since people can quickly become bored from playing one role only.

Cross-play is enabled so you can play with your friends on PC and PS5 (for now) and the cross-save option will allow you to save your adventure progress and continue where you left off.

Can Wayfinder Be Played Solo?

Wayfinder devs have made it clear that playing the game solo will not be an issue and anyone who likes that style will certainly be able to conquer the batches of enemies on his own.

Wayfinder is currently available in Early Access and the full Release is expected on August 17, 2023.
