Where to Find Diamond Drill in Warzone 2.0 DMZ

High risk = high reward

We have all seen our fair share of safes throughout our gaming years but none of which come quite as close to the Koschei Complex safe. Although it is not impenetrable by any means, it may as well be. That is because it requires this fancy Drill that is covered head to toe in jewels. Diamonds to be exact. It must have cost an absolute fortune and I cannot help but wonder that if you were to actually use this to blast through metal, the diamonds would fly off. But it is nothing a bit of hot glue and duct tape cannot fix. Or maybe you use what is inside the safe and bag up the diamonds to send back to your missus at home. This is Vincent’s guide on where to find the Diamond Drill in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Diamond Drill Location Guide

You will only learn of the Diamond Drill by locating the Koschei Complex safe underneath Al Mazrah. Introduced in Season 3: Reloaded, the Complex makes its return with more secrets than ever. You learn the the safe requires the specific Diamond Drill to bypass the code and get inside to reveal its contents. But with such a fancy method of getting in, just what could be waiting for you on the other side of the metal door? The Diamond Drill itself can actually be located within Koschei Complex but the route to getting it is not as simple as descending into the underground Complex. Instead, players need to get their hands on Jumper Cables and a Car Battery (needed to beat External Ops puzzle). The absolute best places to search for these are in Garages around Al Mazrah. This allows you to pick these up at the beginning of your run and then head straight for the Koschei Complex.

You need to get an R4D Detector which can only be found inside the Complex. Check areas such as inside the Plant for a common spawning spot for this item. This needs to be used on the Alpha Cluster locked door which has a keypad. Use the Detector to see the code for the door above. These will show a set of 3 randomized symbols. You need to run around the room, looking through the Detector at the office areas and on the walls to see a mathematic equation that will translate the symbol into a number needed for the code. When you have all 3 numbers, return to the keypad and enter the 3 digit code. Inside the Secret Room, you will find the Diamond Drill located on the left-hand side.

Where to Find the Koschei Complex Safe

If you have not found the safe in Koschei Complex, you will need to head into the Chemical Plant located in the centre of the Complex. Players must obtain the Factory Admin Key from inside Koschei Complex. The Key can appear in the central building inside the Plant. This is well lit compared to the rest of the Plant. To get to the Factory, look for the light and a ロ symbol to indicate the entrance that the Admin Key can be used on. Head all the way through Factory Wing where you will inevitably have to deal with the Bosses – Rhinoceros and Sniper. You have to beat the two Bosses as the safe is located inside this large room. The safe will award players with 3-Plate Medic, Stealth and Comms Vests, alongside Dr. M’s Lab Notebook.
