How to Change Name in Street Fighter 6

In Street Fighter 6, players have the opportunity to create their own Fighter through the vast and highly unique character customization menu. Much like the customization in Saints Row: The Third, Street Fighter 6 offers full creativity and freedom in creating your perfect player. These are who you will play as throughout your time spent inside the Battle Hub. This is where you will verse other players around the world in a 1v1 inside the Fighting Ground. From here, you can choose who you will play as 18 fighters who all have their own unique set of moves to master. What you may not know however is that when creating your character via the Avatar Creator at the beginning of the game, you will be able to set their name. However, this name is on display for all other players to see, therefore it acts more as your username rather than a name used throughout the game’s dialogue.

This choice to complete your Avatar Creator would then be seen inside the Battle Hub on display as players around you invited you into the Fighting Ground. For this reason, you will want their name to better suit you as a player rather than giving them a biological name that may make sense for their appearance. If you have happened to pick a name that you are unhappy with, fear not for this can be changed via Settings.

Of course, if you have not started the Story Mode then you will not have this issue as your username will be what everyone else sees. But for those who selected a name for Story Mode, you will want to adjust this back to your username under Game Tab in Settings. You will find Change Name here which will allow you to make any adjustments for the Battle Hub. This can be changed whenever you want to and does not have to relate to your username that you are using on the platform Street Fighter 6 is running on.
