NBA 2K22 Contact Dunk Requirements

As any 2k player knows, dunking is one of the most satisfying moves you can pull off in the game. However, the dunking mechanic in NBA 2K22 has changed and now involves a dunk meter for you to master. Becoming a reliable contact dunker has never been more challenging.  

Here is the full list of the contact dunks in NBA 2K22 and all the stats that you’ll need to perform them: 

  • Pro Contacts: Driving Dunk 84(+) – Vertical 70(+)
  • Elite Contacts: Driving Dunk 92(+) – Vertical 80(+)
  • Small Contacts: Driving Dunk 86(+) – Vertical 85(+) – Under 6’5”
  • Pro Standing Big Man Contacts: Standing Dunk 80(+) – Vertical 65(+) – At least 6’10”
  • Elite Standing Big Man Contacts: Standing Dunk 90(+) – Vertical 75(+) – At least 6’10”
  • Pro Alley Oops: Driving Dunk 70(+) – Vertical 30(+)
  • Elite Alley Oops: Driving Dunk 85(+) – Vertical 60(+)
  • Pro Contact Alley Oops: Driving Dunk 84(+) – Vertical 70(+)
  • Elite Contact Alley Oops: Driving Dunk 92(+) – Vertical 80(+)
  • Small Contact Alley Oops: Driving Dunk 86(+) – Vertical 85(+) – Under 6’5″

While the new system is somewhat complicated, it presents a change in mechanics that should result in an increased sense of realism when it comes to pulling off high-flying dunks in NBA 2K22.
