Warzone‘s Season 3 Reloaded update brings some ’80s Action Heroes to Verdansk ’84 and some new locations inspired by the films. Raven Software implemented some exciting changes for this mid-season update in the form of limited-time locations. That means these new areas won’t be on the map forever, but just long enough to shake things up a bit. Let’s take a look at the Warzone map changes in Season 3 Reloaded.
Warzone map changes in Season 3 Reloaded
There are three new notable areas in Warzone‘s Verdansk ’84 in Season 3 Reloaded: Nakatomi Plaza, Rambo Survival Camps, and the CIA Outpost.
Nakatomi Plaza
Players can find a massive skyscraper in downtown Verdansk ’84, known as the Nakatomi Plaza, a towering 493 foot-tall building that is replacing the Broadcast Tower. It’s originally from the Die Hard films and was headquarters for the Nakatomi Corporation.
Players can pick up optional side missions at the new location, which they can complete for in-game rewards. Some of the challenges include breaking into the Plaza vault, defusing a bomb on the roof, and disrupting an arms deal.
Rambo Survival Camps
Rambo Survival Camps is not so much a new location, as it is a new set of assets. They replace the existing campsites found around Verdansk. The new Survival Camps are similar to those seen in Vietnam in the popular Rambo film. They are an homage to First Blood Part II. You can find dog tags of fallen comrades in these areas, and turn them in for mystery rewards.
CIA Outpost
Lastly, there’s a new CIA Outpost replacing one of the hangars found in northwest Verdansk ’84. It’s another addition from the Rambo movies and resembles the one seen in Rambo: First Blood Part II. The agents use the base to start tracking down Rambo.
The new Warzone Season 3 Reloaded updates roll out on Wednesday, May 19, at midnight EST (9 pm PT). There are many more changes coming to the game with the mid-season update. Features include some bundles that allow you to play as Rambo and John McClane.
