What is Error Code: 721?

Of course, EA is not the only Developer having to deal with connection issues, but for Error Code 721, this is exclusive to server connection. This Code also only affects players who are playing Multiplayer Games, so those playing Jedi: Survivor should be safe from this issue. What players are told when the Code appears on their screen is that EA cannot connect to their servers. Because of this, you will be unable to access the Multiplayer Game Modes, where you are thrown back to the Main Menu, only to retry entering the Video Game time and time again. Of course, for many EA Games such as Apex Legends, Star Wars Battlefront, FIFA or Battlefield, these games are often played exclusively for their online content, rather than any solo-playing.

Error Code 721 can indicate a problem with the servers themselves, meaning that EA servers are currently down for everyone and requires a restart or hotfix from EA themselves to fix this. You can also experience this Error Code if you have slower internet speeds or are trying to enter the game at the same time as many other people. This will likely be the case for a new game such as Call of Duty or Fortnite, where everyone is trying to get in at once and you are forced into a queue system. If you do not have your Game Files updated, this can also keep you out of the game itself, as you are required to have the latest update installed on your device (PC/ Console). For PC users, you may need to check that your Drivers are updated.

Error Code: 721 Solutions

As simply trying to re-enter the game will not work with this Error Code there are a variety of solutions that are available for you to try out. Firstly, if you and your friends are experiencing server connection issues, be sure to check EA Help or the Twitter of the game you are playing for updates on any ongoing issues that may be affecting all players. If it is an individual issue, you will want to make sure that everything is up to date, your Drivers (PC) and Game Files (PC/ Console). For those on PC, you can clear Cache and Cookies or Disable any Antivirus Software you may have installed on your Computer. Finally, a simple restart of your game and router can help massively as a lot of issues can be solved this way.

Restarting the game will allow you to check if the Error Code has been lifted. If it appears once again, try out the solutions listed above once again, if they are relevant to the Platform you are playing on. If these issues persist, you can reach out to EA Help via their Contact Us page.
