WarTales is an open-world RPG where you will be dealing with many enemies, allies, and pieces of equipment. It’s easy to get lost in all this content let alone remember particular details and features of the game.
One piece of equipment that has caused much confusion among players is the trinkets. These small items that usually have a short description and nothing more have many players wondering whether they are used for some sort of a quest or if they are simply loot that should be exchanged for gold. Read on to find out what trinkets do in WarTales.

What Should You Do with Trinkets in WarTales?
In most cases, the trinkets don’t do much and should be sold. We say “in most cases” since it has been reported that on some rare occasions, they can serve a purpose in a certain side quest or can offer a particular bonus.
Knowing that we recommend that every time you get a trinket you read its description carefully. If it is offering some sort of a benefit for you it will be stated there. We’ve found that there is a trinket that can give you a bonus for fishing, and another one that can be taken to an NPC, so keep your eyes open.
In general, trinkets are items that you can find all over the map throughout your adventure, whether it’s killing bosses or looting chests and most players have just been selling them for gold.
Still, if you are a careful player that doesn’t like to leave anything to chance you can hold on to them. With the abundance of space that you can have in WarTales by using horses and the small amount of space they require, you could potentially hold on to all the trinkets you find.
