A warrior that can create sudden heavy damage from multiple sources and not be too close to the danger at the same time. The Sniper subclass of the Archer class is one that will allow you to utilize your powerful ranged abilities while also relying on your Falcon companion for damage.
When you fully immerse yourself in this build you will see that you will be able to do everything described above without many problems. However, you first need to dive deep and understand the build from the inside in order to implement it the right way. Dive into our article and become a dreadful Sniper.

Stats for Snipers in Ragnarok Origin
Before we go into the skill build for the Sniper we need to refer to stats. A general rule that we believe every Sniper should follow is to distribute their stat points into three stats: LUK, AGI, and DEX. AGI and DEX should be the primary ones with more points, but some of your points should also go to LUK as well.
Now, let’s see what skills you should focus on in the Skill Tree.
Archer Skill Build (1st Job)
- Double Strafe (level 10) – A basic spell for the early game that allows you to shoot 2 arrows at one target for 350% + 200 Neutral Physical Damage. The speed with which you can dash out these arrows depends on your AGI stat. The higher the AGI the faster you can shoot them.
- Owl’s Eye (level 10) – Permanently increases your DEX by 10.
- Vulture’s Eye (level 10) – Permanently increases your range by 10. A must-have for any Sniper build.
- Attention Concentrate (level 10) – Sharpens your mind and gives you temporarily more of your primary stats, 10 DEX and 10 AGI. The bonus lasts 4 minutes.
Hunter Skill Build (2nd Job)
- Falconry Mastery (level 1) – A passive skill that provides you with a Falcon companion that fights by your side. Since it takes only one point for getting the falcon it’s worth taking this skill in almost any Hunter build.
- Beast Bane (level 10) – A passive skill that gives you 20% bonus damage vs Insects and Brutes and 10% vs all others. Great for grinding, especially if you target zones with Brutes/Insects.
- Wind Dance (level 10) – This skill is activated by both your Normal Attack and Double Strafe Attack. Once you stack up a couple of charges it can release plenty of arrows at your enemy and damage them 800% + 300 Neutral Physical Damage.
- Steel Crow (level 8) – Steel Crow upgrades your Falcon significantly by increasing his Physical Damage by 160. In addition, each time the Falcon attacks it gets another damage increase equal to 80% of your ATK.
- Blitz Beat (level 10) – This Falcon skill has both passive and active features. When you activate it the Falcon can dive up to 10 enemies and deal heavy damage (gets bonuses from Steel Crow skill). Passively, it gives your Normal Attack a 5% chance to trigger the active skill. Every 3 points of LUK increases this chance by 1%.
- Detecting (level 1) – A scouting skill that sends out your Falcon to reveal the area and detect invisible units.
Sniper Skill Build (3rd Job)
- Sonic Blast (level 1) – When you activate Sonic Blast you send your Falcon diving and marking the target causing it to lose 16% of its Defense. The dive deals 120% damage + Blitz Beat damage. Passively, this skill sends out a default Sonic Blast for every 3 Blitz Beats triggered.
- True Sight (level 10) – Marks the target and increases your six main attributes by 5, CRI by 10, main weapon ATK by 20%, and CRI.DAM by 10% for 2 minutes. Great to use at the start of a boss fight.
- Arrow Training (level 10) – Passive skill that increases your Physical ATK by 100 and boosts the damage of your consumable arrows by 15%.
- Burst Claw (level 8) – Adds a passive to your Falcon. Every time it attacks a unit there’s a chance it will strike them with a Critical strike and increases its CRI.DMG by 21%. An additional effect your Falcon gets from the Steel Crow skill is buffed by 160%.
