Which Builds Are the Best for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s Early Game?
There are so many different skills and weapons in the game that players can select from, even from the beginning in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This huge number of choices can be confusing, especially for novice gamers, and so we have endeavored to create a list of our favorite builds for the early game. Without any further ado, here is the full list.
Build #1: The Aggressive Fire-Type
For players who love to go on the offense, becoming a fire warrior in the early part of the game will make it all the easier to be super aggressive and wipe out your foes. You’ll want to have either the Iron Spetum or the Iron Sword, and make sure that you level up the Wood Virtue with Fire. You will also want to focus on having a high amount of Fire Virtue, which will make you more closely associated with the virtue and increase your power when using its skills.
Build #2: The Ranged Water-Type
We get it! You don’t want to get your hands dirty, and would rather pick off enemies from afar. This ranged build makes use of the Water Virtue, and we recommend you choose weapons like Wooden Poled Spear or the Chivalrous Swordsman Dual Swords. For a long-ranged backup weapon, check out either the Bamboo Bow or the Colonel Repeating Crossbow to destroy opponents from a distance. Players with this build can also become invisible by taking advantage of the Unseeable Form Water spell, which will allow them to sneak past defenses and ambush enemies from behind!
Build #3: The Sturdy Earth-Type
Choosing the Earth Virtue will let you hold more items in your inventory and also increase how fast your spirit meter fills up by deflecting incoming attacks from enemies. Using the Great Club of Polaris in tandem with the Bronze Halberd, you can counter attacks fairly easily. Just make sure not to dodge too much, since this build benefits from parrying and countering more instead of avoiding attacks. That’s why it’s called the sturdy build, since you have to be unyielding in combat to benefit from this build. Use spells like Enhanced Defense and Mighty Shockwave to dominate in battle and keep your resistance up when you’re fighting. Making use of a ranged weapon like the crossbow to combat enemy archers is also a solid pick with this build.
