Where to Use Waterways Maintenance Kit Key in DMZ

Unlike other Keys that you can find in DMZ, this one offers multiple entry points to utilize. However, with its position being something less than desirable, sitting in the most contested spot on Ashika Island, players may struggle to obtain its loot. This Kit’s location may require more stealth and persistence than others so be sure to bring in an Insured Weapon for this deployment, especially if you are riding solo. Remember that if you die during a deployment you will lose the Special DMZ Key that you worked so hard to obtain, so keep a tight grip on this one. When to Use the Waterways Maintenance Kit Key

To find the location of the Kit, players need to head to the hot spot on the Island, Tsuki Castle. Known to be a highly contested area by both tough AI enemies and Operators. This area is always swarming with Guards on high alert, with Operators ready and willing to hit any Mission Objectives that may require their presence within the Castle walls. Whilst the location you need to go to is not in the heart of the Castle, it is within its named location. Therefore, we highly recommend that players go to this Castle at the beginning of their deployment.

If you obtained this Key in the middle or towards the end of a deployment, you should not attempt to unlock the Kit at this point in time. Our reasoning for this is due to the reinforcements that are inevitably called in when the AI enemy in the Castle become aware of an Operator’s presence.

Where to Use the Waterways Maintenance Kit Key

Refer to the screenshot above for the exact location inside Tsuki Castle where you need to begin your search for the Kit. Players should enter the circular icon on to the north-west side of the Castle. Inside you will find a well in which you can rappel down and descend into water. The Kit can be found at the bottom of the well, keep in mind that you will be submerged so do not panic and simply use the Key, loot the Kit and get out as soon as you have finished.

Alternatively, you can enter this area via the Waterways but you may find this a tougher task to complete than sneaking into the Castle. You are far more likely to face the Guards inside the Waterways than if you enter the Castle at the beginning of your deployment. Therefore we recommend rappelling down into the Waterways from the Castle.
