How to Farm Genuine Qi in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Before you farm Genuine Qi, you better ask yourself: what is Genuine Qi? That’s a great question, my friend. Well, the answer is quite simple. It is basically Experience Points, which you can gather by naturally playing the game. You can use it to upgrade your character and purchase abilities. Furthermore, you can lose it by getting killed. Sort of like a Souls game of yore. In fact, even the same mechanic of avenging your death by killing the enemy that killed you is brought into the game. Anyway, as you would expect, there are various ways to farm this resource. Go ahead and read the following list to know how to farm Genuine Qi.

Genuine Qi Farmine Methods

  • Farming some enemy kills: the easiest way to gather Genuine Qi is by defeating enemies during your playthrough. It is straightforward, really, get rid of any enemy you find, and you will earn Genuine QI. Furthermore, depending on the difficulty and level of your enemy encounters, you can get varying amounts of Qi, specially from bosses. You can even find some Genuine Qi consumables as enemy drops such as Genuine Qi Flake or Clot that could bump up your Qi by a decent amount. These items can also be found by exploring and also using the next farming method.
  • Smash yellow boxes: is this Wo Long or Mario Bros.? Oh well, they act the same in both franchises. Find them across the land during the campaign and you will get some Genuine Qi. And like Mario Bros., some of these boxes will be empty. Too bad, next box.
  • Gear up for Genuine Qi gathering: all weapons and armor available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will give you a certain boost or advantage that you can exploit. And since Genuine Qi farming is important, there are some pieces that will help you in your journey. Look for either Genuine Qi Loss Upon Death or Genuine Qi Obtention bonuses. The first one ensures a diminished Genuine Qi loss after death, while the second one increases your Genuine Qi intake.
