Clash of Clans is one of those games that needs little introduction, especially for anyone who enjoys mobile games. With over a decade in tenure, this base-building multiplayer classic developed by Finland’s Supercell has been on the top of the charts since its release. Build your base as you progress through the game’s many Town Hall levels, and upgrade your armies to ensure you maximize offensive potential. Work alongside others to come out on top during intense Clan Wars, and support your friends by donating troops.
Speaking of troops, there are plenty of them that make up the magical world that is Clash of Clans. Several of these have unique abilities which can make all the difference between winning and losing a battle, so understanding how they work is key to becoming a successful village chief in the game. In this guide we cover how to use the Electro Titan and how her various powers work in Clash of Clans!

How Do You Use the Electro Titan in Clash of Clans?
The Electro Titan is a unit that becomes unlocked by upgrading your regular Barracks to level 16. This can only be done at Town Hall 14, so players who are not yet at that stage in the game have some work to do before they can begin using her. She is a ground troop, meaning she can be susceptible to ground traps such as Giant Bombs, but will be able to avoid those pesky air traps like Seeking Air Mines.
She does not have a preferred target, unlike cards such as the Balloon or the Giant, and will simply attack whichever building is unlucky enough to get in her way. Unfortunately, she will be forced to clear walls before she can engage buildings directly, which can make her slow down compared to other troops you may consider using, like the P.E.K.K.A.
How Does Her Aura Ability Work?
The Electro Titan has a circular aura that surrounds her until she is defeated, which slowly chips away at the health of anything inside its radius, including enemy troops, Heroes and buildings. This can be great for clearing large areas quickly as she is able to destroy more than one building at a time, although the aura does not deal too much damage compared to her main attack. It deals 75 damage per second at its level 1 stage, with a range of 3.5 tiles and an attack speed of 0.4s.
Are Electro Titans Good Defenders?
These hulking warriors can actually be surprisingly strong as protectors of your village, when one is placed inside your Clan Castle, which must be level 6 or higher to hold her as she takes up 32 housing space. With her aura taking out swarms of enemies at once, the Electro Titan can quickly destroy bat spells placed by your attacker or help to take down low-health units that are vulnerable such as Wizards or Witches. All in all, the Electro Titan is not a bad pick for a defender in your Clan Castle, especially when you factor in her large amount of hitpoints (7,200 at level 1).
