When playing the horror dystopian shooter Atomic Heart you will see that the storyline will take you in a couple of directions. The game will have multiple endings for you to experience, and a lot of things to explore.
Nevertheless, one of the things that keeps getting brought up in the game is the pair of gold rings. How can you get these mysterious rings and can you actually use them? Read on to find out what we know.

Gold Rings in Atomic Heart Explained
You will get the golden rings during a mission in the theatre. There will be a cutscene where the NPC Petrov will throw you a small box with them in it, and tell you to give them to Larisa. He supposedly wanted to propose to her but never gets the chance because he is beheaded in that quest.
As you progress throughout the game these rings are mentioned in an extensive way, but after you get them that ring hype goes down. You can’t use these rings in any way through the gameplay, and they are mentioned only once more during a later mission.
In the end, it seems that the hype the game created around the pair of golden rings was bigger than its delivery. It was reasonable to believe that we will be able to acquire these rings and somehow use their hidden mighty power to complete the game, but that sadly isn’t the case. As with Portal’s “The Cake is a Lie”, this mystery turned out not to be such a big mystery at all.
