What is the Max Level in Hogwarts Legacy

You can’t get much more bare-bones in an RPG than leveling up and level caps. People want to level up fast and they want to know how far they can go. In Hogwarts Legacy, you’ve got a decent amount you can go up to. The game boasts an open world, exploring the entire grounds of Hogwarts and everything around it. You have plenty of enemies to fight and spells to learn. As you progress, leveling up is pretty straightforward and easy. The real question is, what is the max level in Hogwarts Legacy?

What is the Max Level

Currently, the max level in Hogwarts Legacy is 40. This is a pretty standard level cap for RPGs. As an open-world game, you might have the chance of maxing out your level way before you finish the game’s main storyline. You also will not get everything unlocked in your skill tree. Whether this is intentional design or an overlooked flaw, currently you can only access about half or a little over 2/3rds of your abilities before hitting max level.

Many people are speculating a DLC could fix the level cap eventually. There is no word on how much DLC or when it will come out so don’t hold your breath too much. For now Hogwarts Legacy just feels like a game that encourages you to run around and explore and enjoy going through the wizarding world you’ve wanted. Leveling up doesn’t seem too important and the difficulty of the game isn’t suggesting you have to be too high to beat or complete any level of tasks or missions. So just play at your own pace if that’s what you prefer to do.
