Industries of Titan is a city builder strategy game where players will be creating a sprawling city on the surface of Titan, one of Saturn’s many moons. To build up your empire, you’ll need to get your hands on a lot of minerals and isotopes, the two primary resources of the game. Thankfully, minerals are abundant. Here is how to get minerals in Industries of Titan.
How to get minerals in Industries of Titan
Harvesting
To harvest minerals in Industries of Titan, players must look to the surface of their world, where they will be found in clusters. Minerals form in patches and in nodes, where you can harvest and collect them. This will be the primary source of your minerals. These can be identified by hovering your mouse over them.
To harvest from a patch or node, you simply must claim the square with influence, and then assign a free employee to harvest. In the pop-up menu, before you harvest, you will be told exactly how much minerals are in the area for you to harvest. Employees can only carry one resource at a time, so if you want to harvest minerals quickly, you’ll need trucks and a mine.
You can also salvage ruins for minerals. Ruins are the giant obelisks that surround your city. You can survey them first to see their worth in resources, then claim the ruin with influence to salvage it for minerals. You’ll also need to assign a free employee.

Trading
Thankfully, you can also exchange influence for minerals in a straight transaction. You can do this through the Headquarters. Also, minerals may come with migrants if you exchange influence for migrant ships through the Offworld Migrations building. Trading for resources is not generally recommended as harvesting them gives you much more resources for your influence.
