How to Beat The Noise in Pizza Tower

The specter of pizza destruction lives on.

For those too young to remember, The Noid was a mascot for Domino’s Pizza in 1980s, bringing a chaotic energy to the brand until his decommissioning due to… well, it’s a whole story, look it up on YouTube. Anyway, though The Noid is more of a meme than anything these days, his chaotic spirit still lives on in many guises, one of which dwells in Pizza Tower. Here’s how to beat The Noise in Pizza Tower.

How to Beat The Noise in Pizza Tower

The Noise is the third-floor boss in Pizza Tower, and just like his inspiration, he’s an agent of chaos. With a wiggly cartoon body and an arsenal of wacky gadgets, he’s made it his mission in life to annoy and inconvenience Peppino because… well, because he can.

The name of the game for this fight is taunt parries. All of The Noise’s attacks can be parried fairly easily, and after he performs an attack, he’ll do a little taunt of his own, leaving him wide open for a dash grab smack. Don’t hang around after attacking him though, as he’ll always perform a little spin before his next attack that can damage you.

Here are the attacks The Noise will use in his first phase:

  • Skateboard: The Noise will get on a skateboard and ride along the floor, occasionally jumping into the air. Jump over him, duck under him, or parry as he approaches.
  • Pogo Stick: The Noise will bounce around in an arc on a pogo stick. If you stand next to a wall, he’ll be less likely to bump you.
  • Hot Air Balloon: The Noise will jump into a balloon and drop bombs on you, then jump out for a small ground pound. You can parry the bombs to get rid of them, then smack him when he comes down.
  • Bounce: The Noise will leap into the air, then dive down at you, bouncing off the walls and floor for a few seconds afterward.

Phase 2: Invasion of the Noiseys

After you drain The Noise’s health and pummel him a bit, the giant Noise balloon in the background will encroach upon the arena. The two holes in its hat will periodically drop Noiseys, little minions with sharp noses that hurt you if you approach from the front. If you grab them from behind, you can chuck them at The Noise for a free stun.

For the second phase, The Noise will mix things up on you, adding extra wrinkles to his previous attacks. Here’s The Noise’s phase two kit:

  • Skateboard Trick: After riding on his skateboard, The Noise will kick the board toward Peppino. If it hits him, it’ll carry him to the side of the room. Harmless on its own, but may carry you into Noiseys.
  • Pogo Crusher: After bouncing around on his pogo stick, the Noise will produce a giant crusher and pound the ground, creating a shockwave along the floor you need to jump over.
  • Decoy Bomb: After using his hot air balloon and stomping down, The Noise will explode a moment later, reappearing over Peppino for a follow-up stomp. Wait until after he explodes, then parry the follow-up to get an opening.
  • Exploding Bounce: At the end of his usual bounce attack, The Noise will create a small explosion before leaving himself open.

Drain his health completely again, and The Noise and Peppino will get into another quick brawl before he whips out a giant minigun. He doesn’t get to use it, though, as his girlfriend, Noisette, suddenly walks in and silently drags The Noise out of the arena, kicking and screaming. Maybe they had a date or something and he forgot. How fortuitous!
