With the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 coming next month, CD Projekt Red is building up the hype. Despite the delayed release date, it’s still the most anticipated game launch of 2020. CD Projekt teamed up with Microsoft to unveil some footage of Cyberpunk 2077 running on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X.

The Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage shows off things like racing across Night City to some first-person action scenes. We can see some transitions during the video between the Xbox One X console and the next-gen Xbox Series X. The video starts with the beginning quest, “Automatic Love,” where the player must hunt down Evelyn at Lizzie’s Bar.

The footage is edited to avoid any potential spoilers in the storyline. It’s the first time we’ve seen any official footage of the game running on anything besides PC. Here’s the official Night City Wire special video via YouTube:

Unfortunately for PlayStation users, this is the only footage we have seen thus far of the game running on consoles. We also have yet to see the title running on Xbox One, as the footage above is running on the more powerful Xbox One X.

We still have three weeks left to go until the official December 10 release date of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt is slowly leaking some teasers and answering questions on Twitter to keep the hype train rolling right up until launch day.
