One can get really lonely when confronting the World of Warcraft. So, in order to counter that, we can tame and befriend pets, that are creatures you find in the wild that can help you during your adventure. Furthermore, they were introduces in the early days of WoW, and in Dragonflight, the ninth expansion, they are back with a lot of new and returning pets all across the Dragon Isles. 10 Best Hunter Pets in Dragonflight
There are quite a bunch of pets in the World of Warcraft, specially all around the Dragon Isles. Included in this list there are new pets as well as returning ones that were unable to be tamed before. Also, there are new variations of known pets and well, it is quite a mixture really. Most of them will be available for you to tame instantly, while some will need you to gather Renown with certain factions or even possessing items or knowledge from previous expansions. So, yeah, you have work to do. But anyway, here are the 10 best Hunter pets in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, in no particular order.

| Coastal Salamanther | Located in Ohn’ahran Plains, these creatures are a beast at limiting the healing ability of its enemies. Furthermore, this Salamanther even can handle the role of being a tank, so it is one of the best pets in the game. |
| Ice Bear | Found in Azure Span, the hunter requires the Bait Crafter specialization to be able to tame them. And even still, they pack a punch. Deal with caution and spend your Knowledge points in Bait. |
| Magmammoths | Magmammoths are just breathtaking, like Keanu Reeves. They come in several aesthetic variations and provide heavy resistance when trying to tame them. You can find them in The Walking Shores. They are best used for solo content. |
| Magmasnails | From Mammoths to Snails. What a wonderful world. Being extremely exotic, these Magmasnails are the defensive champions, since their special abilitiy will help you reduce damage. You can find them in The Walking Shores. |
| Ottuks | Found in Ohn’ahran Plains and the Azure Span, Ottuks are cute but deadly at the same time. You will need Renown level 11 with the Iskaara Tuskarr as well as completing the “While the Iron is Hot” quest to even think about taming them. |
| Spectral Fey Darter | A new variation of the Fey Darter, the Spectral Fey Darter can be found in Jade Forest. You will need Renown level 23 with the Valdrakken Accord. It is a special variant because it will be able to reduce magic damage. |
| Slyverns | Found all around the Dragon Isles, specially in Ohn’ahran Plains and the Azure Span. A big “but” though, since in order to tame them, you require the Tome of Hybrid Beast Taming that is found in Legion. |
| Thundering Black Cloud Serpent | The beloved creature from Mists of Pandaria can now be tamed. Hooray! Pandarian Hunters will be able to tame them, while the other races need to go to The Arboretum in The Jade Forest and speak to San Redscale to purchase the “How to School your Serpent” tome. |
| Vaniik the Stormtouched | Located in Ohn’ahran Plain, this pet is majestic and even worshiped by the Ohn’ir. It could potentially take hours and hours for Vaniik to appear, so be patient and hope that other players don’t kill it. |
| Veilwings | Veilwings come in different colors and can only be tamed once you get Renown level 23 with the Valdrakken Accord. Very useful for DPS applications and solo content. |
