Children of Silentown – How to Get All Possible Endings

All heartwarming by the way.

Choices are important, and our current life state is based on what choices we made in the past. Being able to incorporate said sense of freedom of choice and consequences is a nice gesture by the developers. And, well, a bit of a headache for the completionists. Because, you know, multiple endings mean multiple play throughs. Well, fortunately, this game is pretty great, so hopefully you don’t find this extremely frustrating. Here is how to get all possible endings in Children of Silentown.

How to Get All Possible Endings

Contrary to what you may be thinking, there is only one instance in which what you do and choose will determine the ending of the game. And surprise, surprise, it is the last choice you get to make in the game. You see, throughout the game you will learn new musical notes, which in turn will accumulate and form songs. You will sing them in order to discover certain secrets and character’s motivations and histories. These will also help you navigate throughout the town and specially throughout the forest, which will definitely need your singing capabilities to survive the monsters and also get rid of some intricate puzzles.

Eventually, you will reach the final interaction of the game, in which, with you at one side with a friendly creature of the forest (spoiler alert: the monsters are not that evil apparently), and the people of Silentown in the other. You will be presented with all the songs that you know in the middle of the screen. Click and hold the song you wish to sing, and you will have a different ending playing once the game finishes.

And since you already know the solutions for the game’s puzzles, it won’t take long for you to do that. So I wish you good luck replaying the game, and I will leave you to be the judge to determine if the whole ordeal is worth it or no.
