How to get Frosty Soul in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

Like all previous World of Warcraft expansions, Dragonflight also takes you in thousand directions, and crafting is certainly one of the most interesting ones. However, in order to indulge your craving for craftsmanship you will need a lot of crafting reagents to create some very special items. In this article, we will talk about one of the most sought-after crafting materials – Frosty Soul.

How to Find Frosty Soul

The first thing you need when you embark on your search for Frosty Soul is Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler. This item is allowing you to capture the soul itself since Frosty Soul will be taken from a deadly enemy. The item can be either purchased, crafted, or obtained from work orders.

Further, purchase or have a jeweler create a dozen of Empty Soul Cages. These will be used to store the Frosty Souls so take the number of cages according to the number of souls you will be needing.

Now, there are two ways in which you can find enemies that will give you Frosty Soul. The first one is to go to the Vault of the Incarnates raid and get it from some defeated elementals there and the second one is to go to the Azure Span at 59, 64, kill an elemental you find, and take Frosty Soul.

Wherever you decide to go you need to remember that extracting a Frosty Soul is not going to be easy as picking up a dropped loot. Once you bring the elemental to low hp (5-10%) open your inventory, select Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler and channel that onto it. The enemy must die while the Inhaler is being channeled so it’s best to use some sort of DoT on the enemy that will finish it off while you channel.

If you did everything as described you will have a Frosty Soul captured. The last part is just to wait out a bit until you see that your captured Encaged souls have turned into Docile souls. At that moment you will be able to use it in crafting.
