When the term space shooters comes to mind, most players associate Space Invaders or Galaga. However, there’s a new game that hopes to enter this train of thought: Chicken Invaders Universe. And yes, it’s about as crazy as it sounds. Being part of the United Hero Force, players must face onslaughts of feathered invaders, seeking revenge for countless orders of chicken nuggets. As fun as the premise is, the gameplay is quite solid for a game as silly as this.

That being said, players are itching to know if they can play the game together with friends. Developers InterAction Studios thankfully made sure to implement this feature into the game. Not only can players team up online, but they can also play together offline as well to defeat the poultry invaders from outer space.
How to Play Chicken Invaders Universe with Friends
To first access co-op gameplay, players must at least finish the first mission in the game. That way players can get a basic understanding of core gameplay and mechanics. After that, you are free to create or join lobbies to play alongside others. To host a game of Chicken Invaders Universe online, it’s pretty simple. Players just have to make sure they have enough bandwidth to support however many players they intend on hosting.
Creating a match online is fairly simple. Once the introductory mission is completed, Players will need to go to their Profile and set up their Callsign. A Callsign is a name that players identify themselves with in game. Once done, players go to the Contacts menu and invite friends. From there, it’s as simple as selecting a mission and choosing the Multiplayer option. To play with just friends, select Only Contacts. If Everyone is selected, up to ninety nine players can join in, and unless players have solid internet, this can create severe lag in the game.
