World of Warcraft, with its ninth expansion Dragonflight, is not only the exception but also possesses a complex system that integrates certain currency and minimum character rating that could drive some players a little bit mad. How to Upgrade Mythic+ Dungeon Gear
Upgrading each of your Mythic+ dungeon gear from Item Level 376 to Level 415 will give each of your pieces a ranking between 1 and 13. Starting in ranking level 7, your character will be required to have a minimum Mythic+ rating in order to keep upgrading a certain gear piece. That is the tricky part. Valor Points for Upgrading Mythic+ Dungeon Gear
A currency added again to the game since Shadowlands, Valor Points return to Dragonflight. Their use is to help players gear upgrade through the Mythic+ system, dropped from either dungeons or the Great Vault. You will earn 135 Valor points each time you complete a Mythic+ dungeon, with the fastest way to obtain them and farm them is to farm low-level Keystones. In order to upgrade a certain gear piece, you will have to visit Corxian, an NPC located in Gladiator’s Refuge in Valdrakken (/way 44.32 36.54).
There is currently no viable information regarding Valor costs for each type of Mythic+ gear, but we can use the Valor costs from Shadowlands to have a reference for you to prepare and gather a certain amount of Valor points prior to upgrading. Here are the Valor points cost for Mythic+ gear upgrades.
