Destiny 2 Dawning 2022 – How to Make Ill-Fortune Cookies

Dawning, the Destiny 2 Christmas, is upon us. Thankfully, their Dawning season actually happens in its corresponding month and not since, well, the end of October. But I digress. With this new returning Dawning season for 2022-2023, there are several new things to do. One of them, of course, is the ability to cook delicious treats for several NPCs that will be very grateful for your gifts, and possibly your sacrifice if the ingredient hunting becomes intense. Without further ado, here is how to make Ill-Fortune cookies in Destiny 2 Dawning 2022. Did… someone say cookies?

How to Make Ill-Fortune Cookies

Cookies are not only a delicious Dawning treat, but it is a delicious treat all year round, so be sure to eat some while you gather their digital counterpart in Destiny 2. Man, I love them cookies. Anyway, before I let my inner cookie monster out, you will need to collect some ingredients around the Destiny 2 universe before you can cook those Ill-Fortune Cookies. Because purchasing them from your local store is not a thing anymore. You will need 1 Dark Ether Cane, 1 Impossible Heat, and 15 Essence of Dawning. Sounds reassuring. Here is how to get each item and how to make Ill-Fortune Cookies:

Recipe and Ingredients’ Locations

• To collect the Dark Ether Cane, you will have to defeat Fallen enemies. You will have to grind for a little bit, since the drops are pretty much randomized.
• Impossible Heat is not impossible to collect at all, sounds about right. You will have to deal some solar damage kills by using your solar grenades or your Golden Gun.
• Finally, the Essence of Dawning can be collected by completing Public Events, Crucible and other activities of its kind. You can also complete Eva’s daily bounties. You can get them by simply talking to her and accepting them.
• Once collected, use the Holiday Oven to combine all the ingredients to bake some delicious Ill-Fortune Cookies. Petra Venji will be very happy to receive these.
