The sixth season for Call of Duty Warzone is right around the corner. Players are waiting for more details to release in anticipation of the event. Activision’s battle royale game remains as popular as ever, especially after the new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War release date hit the news. So, when does Season 6 of Warzone start? Here’s everything you need to know.
When does Season 6 of Warzone start?
Season 6 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone starts on September 29. There are some exciting new additions to the game in the upcoming season. We know Farah and Nikolai will be fighting underground in subway tunnels, confirming rumors that a subway system is coming to the game.
Warzone Season 6 Changes
Aside from the underground transport system, players can look forward to a brand new battle pass progression system. Infinity Ward’s lead VFX artist also confirmed some new tracer weapons are coming to the game as well.
Other new content includes new in-game items for your loadouts, new battle royale and plunder items, more field upgrades, new modes, and new loot. Warzone Season 6 will revamp ground loot, so the meta will continue changing as the season develops.
Squads can gear up with silenced and non-silenced variants of each weapon-type. New blueprints will be available in Supply Boxes, as well.
Warzone Season 6 Map Changes
A metro system is coming to the map, and players found the map in the game files. Here’s a look at the underground system, which is confirmed in the trailer below.
Players can spot Subway entrances around Verdansk, leading into the underground railways. One of the new subway stations is near Verdansk’s Stadium.
Zombies in Season 6
We may see Zombies in Season 6, according to ModernWarzone on Twitter. There are various references to zombie sounds and Spaceland. Zombies would, of course, be a welcome addition to the game.
