Can You Evolve a Paradox Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

Evolving through time and space?

The addition of Paradox Pokémon gives a new sense of longevity and lore to the world of Pokémon and the whole franchise including the games, anime, etc., due to their uniqueness. Paradox Pokémon are basically Pokémon that have time travelled to the present time. If you are playing Scarlet, then they are Pokémon from the past and are ancient versions of contemporary Pokémon. If you are playing Violet, then they are Pokémon from the future and are futuristic versions of contemporary Pokémon. For example, Koraidon and Miraidon are Paradox Pokémon based on a contemporary Cyclizar. Due to their “exotic” nature, during post-game, they are the go-to Pokémon to catch. Their arrival have brought several questions regarding their nature, and today we are addressing the following one: can you evolve a Paradox Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Let’s find out.

Can You Evolve a Paradox Pokémon?

When I said Paradox Pokémon are unique, it is in every sense of the word. Not only does Pokémon are unable to evolve, but they are also unable to breed and do not follow any naming conventions of normal Pokémon. For example, each Scarlet Paradox Pokémon are named quite different from each other, while the Violet Paradox Pokémon all start with “Iron” as a first name. Anyway, they are unique indeed. So if you wanted to see what they evolve into, don’t expect them to do so, at least not yet. Maybe this changes someday, but anyway, for now, just catch them to sport them as a valuable addition to your collection, team, or family.
