We can remember a time when groups of people of all ages joined together for meet ups to try to capture a legendary Dratini. Once again, Dratini has made an appearance in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and everyone wants their hands on one. Don’t worry, we’ll help you try to find Dratini because it was a little difficult for us! Here’s where to find Dratini in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Dratini in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Dratini is a dragon-type Pokemon that was introduced in the OG world of Pokemon during Generation one. This beautiful creature has three evolutions, it’s first form being Dratini, secondly Dragonair, and lastly Dragonite. Reason for Dratini becoming popular? It’s beauty and for being incredibly powerful once it’s fully evolved. We’ve seen Dragonite being used by champions plenty of times. If you want to obtain Dratini to add to your team you’re going to need to do a little bit of work beforehand. First things first, we’re going to want to train our mobile companion so he can swim in water because Dratini is swimming.
Where to Find Dratini – Map and Locations
Dratini is a reptilian Pokemon that swims around in water. Its beautiful blue and white pattern on its body isn’t difficult to spot. In order to capture your own Dratini in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet you’re going to want to make sure you defeat enough grunt bases so your mobile companion can learn how to swim.
Once you have unlocked the swimming ability it’s time to head for Casseroya Lake, North Province (Area One), North Provience (Area Two), South Province (Area Six). Make sure your team is equipped to fight Dratini! We’ve seen this little guy at around level 41 and we were not ready for the fight. Once you’ve gotten your team and fought Dratini, you can start the evolution process. Dratini evolves into Dragonair at level 30 and Dragonair becomes Dragonite at level 55.
