How to get Vivillon Forms

At the moment there are no official ways of getting other forms of Vivillon. All caught Vivillon are of Fancy form. However players have a theory as to how to get forms in the future. Right now players can link their Pokémon GO accounts to to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Doing so gives players the chance to acquire Gimmighoul’s Roaming Form. A form that cannot be acquired in game.

With the feature expanding on 2023, players have theorized that to get different forms for Vivillon, they’ll have to use postcards. Different countries will have a different Vivillon form to catch. Using postcards, players will be able to trade forms and finally be able to collect all the forms.

Though again this is just a theory at the moment. Although there’s evidence for it based on Gimmighoul’s Roaming Form, Pokémon Go could make acquiring Vivillon’s forms different when 2023 rolls around.
