And if you’re just getting started in From Space, then you may have recently come up against the dreaded Gloopers, huge bug-like aliens that spit acid. And if you’re having issues dispatching them, we can help you out! We’ll explain how to kill Gloopers in From Space!

How to Kill Gloopers in From Space

The Gloopers make their way into the fold shortly after you encounter the Brawler, as you make your way to the new safe zone. The Gloopers are a large, bug-like enemy that can spit acid at players, injuring them with the initial hit as well as the acid further chipping away at players’ health over its lasting effect.

A Glooper’s spit can also slow you down if you run through it on the ground, but will not injure you at all. If you manage to get close to a Glooper, it’ll actually run away to a safe distance, and then return to spitting acid at you. The Glooper does not have a melee attack and is strictly locked to its firing of acidic spit.

Since this alien runs for the hills when players try to get close, you’ll need to be sure to use ranged weapons against it, specifically one that has a decent range to it such as assault rifles and pistols. You’ll also need to be agile as the Glooper fires its spit pretty quickly, so be sure to utilize that dodge button in order to get out of its line of fire quickly in order to counter-attack it.

Gloopers aren’t too difficult to kill if you follow those tips, and you can dispatch one within a few bullets if you’re aiming is on point. If you manage to get close enough with a shotgun, you can take it out in about 3 or 4 shots.

There you have it! Now you know everything you need in order to kill Gloopers in From Space! If you’re having issues with any other aspects of From Space, be sure to check out some of our other fantastic guides covering this new title!
