How to Unlock Classes in AdventureQuest 3D

Diversify and conquer.

As someone who put a metric whoa-ton of hours into the original AdventureQuest browser game, I can tell you one of the best parts of the game was all the different classes you could play as. From spellcasters to sword-swingers, there was everything you could possibly want and then some. That framework has carried over into AdventureQuest 3D. Here’s how to unlock classes in AdventureQuest 3D.

How to Unlock Classes in AdventureQuest 3D

So much variety! I distinctly remember juggling between Ninja and Paladin back in the day, myself. So, how do you actually get access to these classes? Well, you gotta train for them.

Access to every class in the game except for Guardian is granted via Class Tokens. Every class has its own unique kind of Token, and they’re awarded to you upon completion of class training quests.

For example, say you want to become a Necromancer. To do this, you would need 1,000 Necromancer Class Tokens. You can earn Necromancer Class Tokens by completing daily Necromancer Training quests, which are given out by Stygis in the Doomwood Forest. Completing a Stygis’ daily quest rewards you with 145 Necromancer Class Tokens. Additionally, you can accept a different Necromancer Training quest from the Necronomicon in the Tower of Necromancy, though it pays out the same reward. Assuming you come back and complete a Training quest every day, you should have enough Tokens to unlock the Necromancer class, plus the base Necromancer armor, in about a week.

Every class has its own associated locales and NPCs offering Training quests, which pay out the same daily rate of 145 Tokens per day. The only catch is that you can only complete a Training quest for any class once a day. So, for instance, if you complete a Necromancer Training quest on one day, you can’t take on any training for Mage, Rogue, or any other class until the following day. If you want to unlock a particular class, try to commit to it for a full week instead of trying to juggle unlocking several different classes.

Try your best to unlock whatever classes interest you to get the full AdventureQuest experience! There are few things as satisfying as pummeling monsters with fully-leveled class abilities, let me tell you.
