How to Join the First Descendant Steam Beta

Looking to get your hands on with the recently announced free third-person RPG, The First Descendant before it inevitably launches sometime in the future? You’re not alone, as this game has caused quite a bit of hype as of late. Well, we’ve got all there is to know about how to do so so that you can try it out before most of the general public does.

How to Join the First Descendant Steam Beta

The very first thing you’re going to want to do is head to the Steam Store either through your web browser or via the Steam software on your computer. Once you’ve gotten to the home page of the store, type “The First Descendant” into the search bar and hit search, and select it or select it before hitting search. Or, just click this link here!

You’ll then be taken to The First Descendant’s Steam page. If you scroll down a bit you should see a green button that, when clicked, adds the game to your Steam wishlist. Below that, you’ll see another green button that reads “Request Access”. Clicking this button will request access to the beta once it becomes available, and you’ll be allowed to play if chosen by Nexon Co.

When Does The First Descendant Beta Take Place

According to The First Descendant’s Steam page, the game’s first and only listed beta test that is currently scheduled is due to take place starting on October 20th, 2022 at 3:00 am EDT and ending on October 26th, 2022 at 2:59 am. While there currently isn’t another beta test scheduled, there’s sure to be another scheduled within the next couple of months before the year ends.
