Aside from the general Avatar story of the Na’vi versus the RDA, there’s more to it. Players will take on the callsign of Raven and will be tasked with uncovering the truth about what happened to their parents following their disappearance when the Samson vessel they were on was shot down into the jungle.
How Avatar: Reckoning’s Gameplay Works
The gameplay in Avatar: Reckoning is actually quite refreshing as, while it can be tackled through multiplayer, you can also play the game’s campaign in single-player. It’s touted as being an MMORPG shooter and features a huge open world to explore. Players will be able to create their own Avatars and have the chance to improve them through leveling up and unlocking new weapons and gear over time.
Players even have the ability to join other Na’vi clans and fight side by side against spawning waves of RDA troops in multiplayer or even solo matches. There are also standard PvP matches that feature hectic multiplayer gunplay.

Though there’s no release date announced quite yet, players can begin to pre-register for the game and be kept up to date with emails from the development team.
