Finally, some peace and quiet. Well, there’s certainly quiet, but there may be no peace as you stumble around the poolrooms in Escape the Backrooms. There aren’t any entities in these white-tiled hallways, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch your step. You still must be careful if you want to escape. Here is how to escape the poolrooms in Escape the Backrooms.

How to Beat the Poolrooms in Escape the Backrooms

The poolrooms, with no entities, become` merely an exploration level. The water or the pavement does not harm you so you can step in both as you please.

The only thing you should look out for is the darkness. Some hallways or areas of the poolrooms will be shunned in darkness. Avoid those areas at all costs. If you step foot in them, the darkness consumes you, ending your run. As long as you avoid the foreboding darkness, then you will find yourself worry-free.

With that mentioned, here are you directions out of the poolrooms.

You will spawn into a room with only one exit, to the left at the end. Upon leaving, you will find yourself in a large matrix of small cubicle-like rooms. Turn fully to your fight and walk through all the rooms until you hit the wall. Turn left, and walk through all the rooms until an entrance opens on your right. Walk through into that room.

This room will have three exits, one on the left, one straight ahead, and one on the right. Walk through the right passageway, the other two will only lead you to your death.

Walking through the windy walkway and you will have to walk through a spot of complete darkness. Do not worry, this is a decoy and is safe to walk through, just ignore the two tile reflections that look like eyes watching from the abyss.

You will find yourself in a room full of archways. There is also a lot of darkness in this room, but it is all safe to walk through. There is an entrance at the very opposite end of the room. Ignore the passageway to the left and walk through that one. Following it through for a few paces and you will be met by a distant red door.

Simply walk all the way through and touch the red door, and you’ll find your way out of the poolrooms in Escape the Backrooms. And no, you cannot interact with the blue slide :(.
