What are Operations in World of Tanks Blitz?

Operations in World of Tanks Blitz are month-long, themed events where players can earn extra rewards by playing missions. The missions advance players through battle tracks, where a player can either benefit from the free, standard one, or pay to benefit from the more luxurious and generous premium track.

Each operation comes with a brand-new tank that features halfway into the premium battle track, but players, even non-paying, can earn buckets of rewards, a lot of gold, silver, and Free XP as well as boosters and camos and much more.

Each week, a new set of missions will release for players to complete, each completed mission giving the player the next reward of their tracks. The missions are quite simple, yet diverse enough to have to play with different tanks. A player can only advance one week’s missions at a time, so ideally they will play through each week’s missions as they come.

Is Operation Roaring Lion Worth it?

So, what does Operation Roaring Lion bring to the table?

Themed around Victorian England and the discovery of electricity, this operation brings a mighty tank with it – the Churchill W, a tank with two guns. Let it be noted that the tank does not have a twin barrel, but rather a tiny machine gun mounted next to the main turret.

If you want to buy the premium battle track, you’ll be running into a huge injection of currencies, but only if you complete missions throughout the month. The free track boasts considerable rewards like always, too, so you can advance on the free track and then buy the premium one if you have advanced quicker than anticipated. You can still claim all the previous premium rewards.

The two premium tanks for Roaring Lion are the Churchill W at stage 30, but also the Valentine Mk. IX, a formidable tier IV tank.

So, it’s up to you to decide whether spending around $5 on a premium pass is worth the incredible boost of currencies and the two tanks, just remember that you will have to work quite hard to grab all of those rewards first!
