Wolcen Mage Build Skills and Skill Modifiers

Bulwark of Dawn

Sacred Grounds will give us some more damage ticks in this Wolcen Mage build. Heaven of Man, Boundless, and House of Rest for force shield regeneration to help us stay above 50% for the passive node.

Aether Jump

A must-have for most spell-based builds in Wolcen, not just this mage build. Aether Jump is probably the best mobility skill in Wolcen at the moment. Here’s our setup:

Infinity Blades

Infinity Blades is used mainly for boss DPS while our high cooldown spells are recharging.

Tear of Etheliel

Tear of Etheliel will be the hardest hitting skill in our arsenal giving us the highest flat damage. Here are the skill modifiers we’re using:

Anomaly

We’ll need to get Echos of Infinity and Confluence Of All Things to synergize with our passive node that makes health globes. Converting the skill to lightning also procs Ancient Ferver and apply Shock for more globe generation.

Solfarfall

Sunrise is the most important modifier which makes the skill deal damage over time. Devastation and Glare of Judgment will increase the ticks for more health globes.

Passives (Gate of Fates)

Make sure the wheel is aligned properly. You can move the inner, middle, and the outer circle so reference the image below to make sure it’s aligned properly. Most Important Passives:

  • Beacon for The Lost (Eos) – scales with our total damage
  • Faith Leech (Warlock) – keeps us above 50% force shield threshold
  • Resilience to Corruption (Warlock) – helps us not die to DoTs
  • Masochistic Effigy (Abyssal Shaper) – defensive node
  • Salvatory Anchor (Siegebreaker) – amazing defensive node resistance buff based on chest-piece
    • Elevated Gain
  • Merciless Lethality (Assassin) – gives us a lot of Critical Damage
  • Acute Tracking (White Arrow) – helps damage
  • Which Time Cannot Heal (Time Weaver) –
  • DIre Juncture (Time Weaver) – allows us to not get killed in one shot
  • Disallowing Vessel (Siegebreaker) – optional
  • Oracle of the Trinity (Ancient Fervour) – another damage and critical chance increase
  • Immortal Offering (Cabalist) – helps to clear areas quicker

Wolcen Mage Build Attributes and Gems

In Wolcen, Mage builds and other builds usually scale with Ferocity the best. It provides a nice damage increase over the other attributes. If you are missing out on some force shield you can throw a few points into toughness for survivability. 30-35k is a good amount of force shield.

For gems, you will want flat damage to spells and transfer time. Look for Offensive (II), Support (III), Support (II) and Defensive (III).

Level 187 might take some time for you to clear, so a good farming range is around 160 area. Good luck!
