Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a very controversial RPG. Another in a long line of disappointing PC ports, the game seems to frustrate players to no end. Another frustration that players will pick up on is the seeming inability to drop items, either to spare inventory space or to share with their friends in co-op. Here’s how to drop items in Wo Long: Fallen Dysasty.

How to Drop Items in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a challenging and punishing game of impossible odds – and that’s besides the poor PC controls. Before long, you’ll find your inventory full of items and bits and bobs, not all of which you’ll deem valuable. If you want to free up some space, then you can drop useless items to the floor and forget about them.

To drop an item, go to your inventory, not your equipment screen. Once in your inventory, select on the item that you wish to drop. You will notice a small ‘X’ appear. Click on it, and then click on ‘drop’. The item will be removed from your inventory and you will see it on the ground. You’ll notice that ‘discarding’ items also will drop them to the floor.

Can Your Friends Pick up Your Dropped Items?

Players with a little too much might want to give equipment or useful items to their friends that they’re playing co-op with. This would seem like a very smart thing to do, to drop an item for them to pick up. However, items that are dropped by the player cannot be seen or interacted with by any other players. This prevents item and equipment sharing, unfortunately.
