Free your inner hunter in Wild Hearts as you take down mighty beasts with your own skill and contraptions. As you hunt them down, you will be able to receive items from their corpse, useful items that you’ll need to use. Giant Kemono Gems are no exception to this. To get them, you’re going to have to defeat a mighty beast.
How to get Giant Kemono Gems in Wild Hearts
Giant Kemono Gems in Wild Hearts is a difficult item to get hold of. There are two main ways to get them.
Mighty Hunt rewards
In Wild Hearts, when you reach chapter 3, you’ll unlock Mighty Hunts. You may be surprised to know that players have received Giant Kemono Gems as a reward for completing one. It isn’t listed as a reward in its cyclopidia drop table, but it has been recorded to happen. So if you’re in a pinch, completing a Mighty Hunt could be the lucky break you need.

Defeating the Earthbreaker
You can also get Giant Kemono Gems from hunting. But not just any old beast or monster, you’ll have to face the mighty Earthbreaker. The Earthbreaker is a giant kemono that you must face as you progress the story, so you’ll be fighting it sooner or later anyway. Earthbreaker is a staggering mountain of stone and earth that will shrug off your hits and has no arm weak spots.
To take this monument down, you’ll need to rely on wind and fire damage attacks to whittle its health down. Don’t rely on doing huge amounts of damage, this battle will be one of attrition as you slowly break down its health. When you have toppled the beast, there is a chance it’ll drop Giant Kemono Gems. You may have to face Earthbreaker many times. Good luck!
