The first voice actress to voice her was Carolyn Lawrence. though the performance is iconic, we cannot handle her yelling Leon 200 times a level, so let’s hope they fix that.

Capcom decided to go with another model and found Ella Freya. She is a 23-year-old Instagram model whose looks capture the energy of Ashley. She is Dutch and judging from her social media posts is absolutely ecstatic to be a key player in the RE universe. Perhaps the only time in our lives when we can tell a model to climb in a dumpster. It’s unconfirmed if she will also be voicing Ashley.
Funny side note, the model was the basis for Jill Valentine in RE 3 remake. So she and Capcom already have a working relationship, which is nice. Resident Evil 4 drops in March of 2023. And no, a hunger strike will not make it come quicker. We already tried that.

As you may or may not know, Ashley is the daughter of the president. Leon is tasked with finding her and getting her to safety (on a jet ski, yo). She is the heart of the game, so people are uber-curious about who will be filling the role. To get to play back through this brilliant game is a gift from polygonal heaven. If it is half as good as the RE 2 remake, we will be in awe.
Resident Evil 4 was first released on the Game Cube in 2005. The game was considered revolutionary in many ways thanks to its gameplay mechanics. The game also introduced new enemy types for the series, bringing the franchise to the next level.
