To fully evolve a Gimmighoul into a Gholdengo, players will need to acquire nine hundred and ninety nine Gimmighoul coins. It doesn’t matter the level or how many rare candies have, a Gimmighoul will not evolve until the coin requirement is met. This can be frustrating for completionists , as without knowing the best way to get Gimmighoul coins, it can be quite a process. Fortunately, with the right planning, Gimmighoul coins are rather easy to acquire. It’s just knowing the best way to get them.

How to get Gimmighoul coins?

Talking to people can give players a chance to get Gimmighoul coins. Even going to the four watchtowers can net some. Go through the trail, defeat Gimmighoul and collect coins. Since the Pokémon respawn after a period of time, it’s a matter of rinsing and repeating until the job is done.

Once players get 999 Gimmighoul coins, it’s evolution time. Though before doing so, make sure that the Gimmighoul you want to evolve is the perfect one. Check IV’s, nature, anything else. Because once it’s done to evolve another Gimmighoul requires 999 more coins.
